As event organisers use our online box office service for more of their events, the likelihood of returning customers making bookings and inadvertently creating a new (and duplicate) customer record on their account is increased.
To help avoid duplicate records for the same customer, you can use the 'Deduplicate Customers' feature from time to time.
The deduplication feature can be found in your TicketSource account under the "Customers | Deduplicate Customers" menu option. The feature scours the database for any duplicate customer records on your account.
Any duplicate customer files will be displayed in a list. All you need to do is untick any customers that you don't want to merge and then click 'deduplicate customers' to perform the clean up.
