Creating a listings page that will wow your potential customers is key to promoting a successful event. Much of the decision to buy online is visual, and you can entice potential customers by adding colours and visuals to your listings page.

It goes a long way to instilling confidence in your events if it looks professional and invites purchase. Do it right and your page will also be a great representation of your event.

Provide all the essential details

Make buying tickets for your events an easy choice, by giving customers all the details they are likely to need. A popular question we often get asked is: "what time does it finish?" People are increasing busy these days and they want to be able to plan what to do after your event. Will they have missed the last bus? Can they organise a time to be picked up? Including details like this will really help your customers.

Offering concessions? Make it clear who qualifies as a concession, to avoid phone calls from concerned customers who wonder if they qualify. If you give OAPs a concession, make it clear at what age they would qualify. The same goes if offering Child ticket categories; up to what age can they have the reduced price?

We see lots of events offering food as part of the ticket purchase. These aren't necessarily just outdoor events, but some theatres and clubs are choosing to offer meals or snacks as part of a ticket offer. If this is something you want to do, keep and mind those who may have food allergies, and those who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet. The Questionnaire Setting enables you to ask your customers about their dietary requirements during the booking process. Otherwise they may be put off purchasing purely based on the food options, rather than anything to do with your event.

Display your contact details

Provide your contact details, sometimes customers have very specific questions that they would like to ask you, so making your contact details available on your website and TicketSource sales page will let customers get in touch and enable you to make that sale.

If they can't see a way to contact you, they may decide that it's not worth the hassle of trying to answer their question and ultimately, won't go on to book.

Customising your pages

Your listings page may be the first time someone has seen anything related to your event and first impressions count! If you don't have any images to add to your listings page, or don't have any experience with designing, sites like Canva or befunky will help you make your event page pop!

Try our TicketShop for more ticket sales

Think about adding our TicketShop app to your website or Facebook Page to sell more tickets. The TicketShop app lets customers view your listings directly from your website or Facebook Page without needing to be directed to our main page.

Make it sharable

An exciting listings page is more likely to be shared by your customers. The buttons on the top right hand side can be clicked on allowing customers to share to either their personal Twitter, Facebook or Google+ page to be shared. A little extra time spent on your listings page will help increase the sharing of your events on social networks and increase your ticket sales too!
