The Summer has well and truly arrived in style, and across the pond the US celebrated the 4th of July with fireworks in red, white and blue bursting across the sky.

Here in the UK, Bonfire Night may well be four months away, but it's not too early to start planning your celebrations. It'll be with us before you can say "Gunpowder, Treason and Plot!"

Fireworks displays take considerable planning and we've seen first hand that the best attended Autumn events are those whose organisers use the Summer months to start building awareness and excitement, particularly on social media.

By posting your unique TicketSource URL, you can add a BOOK NOW button to your posts, so your customers can go direct to your sales page to buy their tickets. When you are writing your Facebook post, you can edit the yellow highlighted text with whatever you want to appear making it completely customisable for your event. You can also upload you own image, or leave our default TicketSource BOOK NOW button to be clicked.

You can make ticket buying even easier for your customers by embedding our TicketShop application for Facebook into your Page.

To embed the Ticket Shop app, login to your TicketSource account and go to:

Events | Publicise Events | Add Ticket Shop app to your Facebook Page

By integrating our TicketShop app, you can ensure that your customers are able to buy tickets to your fireworks display directly through Facebook. This gives you the opportunity to engage with customers by posting photos and snappy posts to keep them excited!

For more information, take a look at our TicketShop guide which gives you a setup walk-through.

A big event like Guy Fawkes night is a great opportunity to customise your TicketSource sales page to suit the display. You could even customise your tickets to provide customers with an exact map of how to find you and any info they might need to know such as ease of car parking etc.

By utilising the summer months to start planning your firework displays, you can ensure that ticket sales really soar!
