Can I change the capacity on an existing event?

You can change the capacity on an existing event.  How you do this, will depend on whether your event is unreserved or has a seating plan.


For unreserved events:

  • Go to your dashboard (the house icon)
  • Next to the relevant event, hover over the "Actions" button and select "Set Ticket Availability"
  • In the capacity box, add the new capacity
  • Click "Save Changes" to apply

For events with a seating plan:

  • Hover over the "Events" tab at the top of the page and select the "Modify Event" option
  • Select the event from the drop down menu provided and click the "Modify Event" button
  • In the "Ticket Allocation" column, click to "modify" the seating plan
  • In the table that is displayed, click to "modify" next to the relevant section
  • To remove a seat(s), click on a seat and select "remove multiple seats". Enter the number of seats to be removed and click on "remove seats"
  • To add seats, follow the above but select "add multiple seats". Ensure you number any new seats that you add
  • You will not be able to delete any seats that have already been sold
  • Click "Save Changes" to apply

Please note that Adding/Deleting seats using this process will only amend the specific event. If you have multiple performances, events or dates in an event run, you will need to follow this process for each event/date.
