Adding your own Data Privacy Policy to the online booking process

The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) require that a Data Privacy Policy is provided to the customer at the earliest possible opportunity for both the Data Processor (TicketSource) and the Data Controller (the event organiser).  The TicketSource Data Privacy Policy is displayed as part of the online booking process, however you can also add your own Data Privacy Policy to enable it to be presented to the customer.

To add your Data Privacy policy, go to:

  • “Account | Data Protection Settings”.
  • Under “Your Customer Data Privacy policy”, provide your own policy wording.
  • Scroll to the bottom and click “save changes”.

Customers can now access your Data Privacy policy during the online booking process.
