A key component to successfully improving the wellness of those directly or indirectly affected by addiction is by "Breaking the Stigma" that creates barriers to proven solutions. This stigma is based on a belief that those with chemical dependencies, despite the consequences, are weak or morally failed, and choose to be addicts. Breaking this stigma is the only way to move forward with harm reduction solutions focused on overall community wellness.
